Well, I figured I might as well brush off some cobwebs from this decrepit part of the web.
It's been almost 3 months since I last got on here, almost two years since I actually uploaded something to my gallery.
Expect things to stay that way.
I just have lost my interest in art, and have had other things to think about.
Perhaps that post-it note comic ("Notenzer" as I had called it, some stupid mecha-animu-parody) WILL be completed, but not any time soon. If it gets done, it gets done. If not, well, then this is probably the last dA journal I make.
It's funny, I joined here about, what, 5 years ago? I started with generic anime artwork, and constant whining and emo junk. I then moved on to "LOL SO RANDUM", more generic-animu-style art, furry nonsense, and an obsession with people in rubber suits beating up other people in rubber suits (i.e: Tokusatsu). I've grown out of most of that, and I have no idea what I'm into now.

College has just made me busy, and I honestly lost interest in art. I never took any lessons, I never attempted to follow any of the "how-to-draw" books I got. I honestly came here to be accepted, and the art now feels like an excuse. I've moved on, though. I'm looking for ways to improve my life, to improve my behavior, to really grow up and be a success. Thus, I essentially dropped off of dA. I saw that it has just increasingly become the same thing (however, there are some awesome people out there). To those of you who stay here, and who use your talent to draw, then good for you, keep it up. As for me, I'm always there to chat with and what not, but I've decided to really go out there and look for ways to be more social. Heck, I'll admit it, I made mistakes, I took the internet too seriously, and I did things that I regret, but I want to put them behind me.
I'll keep this open for just a bit longer, sure, but it will eventually die off. The only chance of new art is, again, if that comic finishes, but that is more than likely an idea that's dead in the water as well.
